MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects Limited, Halifax, NS is delighted to announce that their Principal, Brian MacKay-Lyons, has been appointed to the Order of Canada.

On October 14, 2022, Her Honour, Lieutenant Governor Brenda Murphy presented AANB member Pam Barteaux with the Herménégilde Chiasson award on behalf of the Architects’ Association of New Brunswick. This prestigious award was created to recognize an individual who has provided exemplary architectural services and for advocacy of the architectural profession. Pam is a dedicated AANB member who over many years has very quietly and diligently, with determination, provided support, counsel, and leadership to the AANB and the architectural profession in New Brunswick and continues to do so. Congratulations, Pam!

Fredericton, NB – The Honourable Brenda Murphy, Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick, has presented the 2022 Lieutenant-Governor’s Award of Excellence in Architecture to Nordais Architecture Inc. This award was given for their design of the “Maison du Bocage” project in Caraquet.
