Architects registered with the AANB may seek opportunities to practice internationally under the jurisdiction of another architectural regulator.

In addition to the Canadian Reciprocity Agreement and the Canada-USA Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), the AANB is signatory to other Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) which provide a pathway for practitioners to obtain registration/licensure across the globe.

Qualifications and requirements vary for each MRA. We encourage you to review the following links for additional details and opportunities.
