Accessing Admissions Course Modules

The purpose of the AANB Admissions Course series is to complement an Intern’s education and training with additional practical information relevant to their success as a licensed professional in the Province of New Brunswick.

Successful completion of the course is a mandatory requirement for licensure as an Architect with the AANB. Although the course is mandatory for interns, it is available for all members.

The AANB Admissions Course consists of three modules:

1. Module #1: The AANB
2. Module #2: Practice Management
3. Module #3: Construction Documents and Administration

Interns may take Module #1 prior to writing the Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC) while Modules #2 and #3 must be taken after the ExAC and prior to making application for registration with the AANB as an Architect.

6. Read and review the overview material and related attachments. Then click on:

1. It is important that you take the time to review and familiarize yourself with the overview material and reference documents prior to starting the Module.
2. You do not need to complete the entire Module at one time. You can stop and go back and continue where you left off as many times as you’d like.
3. There is no pass / fail score. If you answer a question incorrectly, the correct answer will be provided for your information.
4. The system automatically records your correct and incorrect answers for review by AANB staff.

Although mandatory for Interns in their pathway to licensure, all members are welcome to avail themselves of this learning opportunity.
